From the very beginning, this book had me guessing at what might happen next. Flying all over the world at extremely fast speeds and using document from hundreds and hundreds of years ago so solve a murder seems impossible, but these are just some of the adventures Brown takes the reader on in this novel. His use of the historical city of Rome and it’s many architectural attractions, and how in depth he goes into describing them, really brings the reader into the story and keeps their interest. 1.You can almost pictureSt. Peter’s Basilicaor the Pantheon right before your eyes. And the way the plot centers around the idea that science and religion can be united really gets you thinking. It’s been the argument for many years whether the creation theory is scientifically possible or not, and while this novel does not hold the answer, it does explore the fictional possibilities. 2.Everything they decribe in the book makes you feel like you right in the bok like when he enters into the room where the murder takes place. These possibilities are what fuel the murders and eventually a suicide as well. Brown depicts good people who do wrong in the desperation to hold on the their way of life and how they understand the world. Vetra comes to the Pope with his antimatter ideas and Camerlengo Ventresca feels very threatened by them. All he has every known has been the Catholic Church, and when he feels his own religion is in danger, he acts very irrationally and many lives are lost. The reader assumes that the camerlengo is one of the good guys, just as Langdon and the others do, until he reveals himself as the one behind the deaths. 3.Also when the pope dies i can see how dramatc everyone would be that there leaders would be dead. Angels and Demons kept me guessing until the end, and I could have never guessed outcome I found in the final chapters. 4.At every point in the book that langton visits for each clue that get him closer to find the murder he explains very wel what the place looks like and all the clues his find explains those as well! 5. For my last visual is that he explains everything that is going on when he is looking for the clues throught the buildings very detailed then the movie.
